I have plans to purchase a new, more expensive chair as part of a planned overhaul of my home office/game space. However my old chair gave up the ghost a few months early. So I had to replace it on very short notice with something that I could get fast and cheap. Overall I’m satisfied with this chair based on the price. However the instructions, and I use that word loosely, is one page of pictures. I’ve put a few of these together over the years so I didn’t have much trouble with assembly. *BUT* I have been unable to get the recline feature to work at all! Once fully assembled, the chair is partially reclined maybe 5%. It’s just enough to cause me to lean forward (unconsciously) while working or gaming using the keyboard which causes some real discomfort in my lower back. The instructions are totally worthless as the pictures only show how the cables connect to the chair and include absolutely nothing about how to adjust them, assuming that’s the actual problem. So I gave 2 stars for assembly. It’s pretty simple to assemble but god help you if you need to adjust anything!

I bought this for my music studio where I move around a lot to and from the desk. I was also able to raise the arms and play guitar, mandolin and fiddle. It was very comfortable for the few hours I used it, after I put it together. Assembly was really easy. I only needed to look at the pictures to see where a part was supposed to go. Once you got that it’s a piece of cake. I was going to buy a lazyboy but the reviews were scary. I saw this one on amazon and saw the reviews and thought I had better go with this one and save some money. My wife said she loved it. She came into my studio and sat in the chair and did not want to get up. I was surprised when she said she loved it. I may have to get another.

So easy to put together and so comfortable to sit in.
I do need a pillow to make it just a little softer on the bottom, but I think you would enjoy this chair.
I do need a pillow to make it just a little softer on the bottom, but I think you would enjoy this chair. I replaced the wheels with the soft wheel which is solid solid, and makes easy move it around my kitchen.
You can’t beat the price and I plan to buy second chair for my wife which we use in our kitchen.

Let me preface by saying, I am not a tiny person. As a woman at 5’8″ I am average height at least – on the taller side even for women, at least in my experiences. I have also worked in at least 10 different places and have never had any sort of issue sitting in the standard size office chairs provided.
I passed up many other nice looking chairs because they were labeled big & tall. This one should be, too, or at least give some sort of size suggestion for the person. Look closely at the dimensions, and I guess measure yourself? Idk how else I would determine the right size before ordering it since I didn’t have a chair to compare to. But this is clearly designed for people taller and wider than me (which is perfectly fine, it should just be clearly labeled as such). Unfortunately I ordered it, assembled it – which was not necessarily difficult in terms of furniture assembly, but that sort of thing always is for me as I have fibromyalgia, tendonitis in both elbows, and a host of other physical issues that make it tough. Now I have to disassemble and figure out how to get it all back into the box to return it – then do the whole assembly process again with a new chair.
The arm rests were far too wide apart for me, these was absolutely no way I could have both arms resting while typing and/or using a mouse. Also, the arms were too high up. I have to sit on top of a pillow to raise myself high enough for my arm to rest naturally (again, not an issue I’ve ever had with any other office chair). I also thought it was defective at first because the tilt release switch didn’t seem to do anything. After spending more time trying to figure out if I needed up in assembly, I realized that I just don’t weigh enough. If I put all my weight into the back of the chair with force, I would feel it tilt back slightly but even then it was barely noticeable.
On the plus side, the cushions are really comfortable and it did have good lumbar support which was a big selling point for me in the first place. The padded arm rests were also great in terms of the comfort of the arm rest itself. I really tried to make this chair work simply to avoid the hassle of disassembling to return and then finding a new chair and assembling that. But it just didn’t. It was causing me more pain that sitting on my couch.

The deal on the brown leather chair was too good to pass up. I chose the brown leather versus the black leather chair and saved about $60 but the truth is that the brown chair looks better (in my opinion) than the black chair. The assembly couldn’t have been simpler and the chair was up and working within 10 minutes. After making a few. adjustments, I have a comfortable and supportive executive office chair. I am able to lean back and rock the chair slightly if I would like too. So far with daily use, I have not tired of the look or feel of this chair. The leather seating area seems durable but time and use will end up telling the truth about the quality of the seating surface. I would definitely recommend this chair for the $53 that I spent.

I got these chairs while they were on sale. Boy am I sure glad I did! Very comfortable; I’ve sat in one all day and into the night. Really great investment and surprised by the leatherette quality. I hope to use it for years to come.

What do I like about this chair?
– Pretty much everything. It’ nice looking, comfortable, and sturdy.
If I could change one thing about it, what would it be?
– I’d make the seat a little smaller width.

I like the looks of this chair and find it to be comfortable for sitting at the desk for an hour or less. I am disappointed that the armrests are farther apart than any chair that I have had before and that the lumbar support is fairly week.

Overall the chair is excellent. There are not complaints other than it sits about 2 inches too high and i do not know how to adjust it down. I am on the lowest setting and it still feels high when i am typing on my keyboard.

chair was good for the price but not the best choice for people that are heavy
I bought this chair in Feb 2020 but it never arrived. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement right way so 5 stars for support.
I assembled it without too many issues.. basically 12 screws and the allen wrench comes with it. Assembly was a bit awkward with the slippery pleather etc but but I suspect that would be the case with any chair like this. I had no missing parts, the instructions were pretty clear, took me maybe 10 minutes. 5 stars for assembly.
Overall, the chair was fine. It was pretty comfortable and there were controls to tilt & lock and height, which was good enough for me.
I was very heavy back then, just under 300. One day I dropped something to the floor and when I leaned to the left to pick it up the chair creaked and cracked. I seems the wood in the seat pan cracked and the flat metal tilt bar that connects to the back snapped. The chair was still useable but over time it tilted more and more to the left. Once my back started aching, I had to replace the chair.
