10 reviews for Blue leather office chair

We were in desperate need of a basic office chair. The one we had was oversized for our family, peeling everywhere and the casters would hardly roll.

This is a nice, light weight chair that I expect was designed for moderate use by an average sized individual.

What I like about the chair:

    — Ease to put together: I asked my 17-year-old to put it together. He opened the box and had it assembled within an hour. Easy enough that he didn’t have to ask for any help. He has basic knowledge about hardware, etc. And he never came to me for help with anything, including deciphering the instructions.

    — Fairly comfortable — the material is a soft mesh with a cushion. The arm rests are hard plastic and move up and down (at an angle). Note that they do not move inward or outward as best I can tell.

I was able to put this chair together within 30 minutes by myself. The instructions say even though one person can perform the assembly, it’s better to have two people. Honestly, so long as you’re somewhat mechanically inclined you should be able to manage by yourself if no one else is available to help you. All hardware needed is included as well as a hex wrench – the only tool necessary. Also included is one extra hex driven screw for each step of assembly, for a total of 4 extra screws.

The chair is lightweight when it’s all put together, with a seat cushion that’s not too hard or soft and a mesh backrest that supports the back without any “play”. That’s a great feature for me as it will keep me from getting too comfortable while sitting in the chair, which ultimately leads to lots of discomfort from sitting too long. With the seat height adjusted properly and the ergonomic mesh backrest, it keeps me sitting in the proper position – straight up as opposed to slouched too far forward or back.

The adjustable armrests are another nice feature. I’ll keep them down most of the time while using the chair, but it’s very convenient to be able to lift them to keep the chair as far under the desk as possible and out of the way in a small space. The caster wheels roll nicely, and like most office chairs, it offers adjustable height, a slight tilt to the back whenever you feel the need to, and a locking mechanism that prevents the chair from tilting back. Nice, comfortable office chair for the price.

Minor quality flaws: the back does not fit the seat cushion uniformly & there are threads hanging out from the top of the backing & frame.
Putting the minor flaws aside, the chair is comfortable, has good support, can be adjusted up and down, the arms can be up or down, and the wheels roll smoothly. Now the seat cushion is a firm cushion, not like sitting on a rock or the floor, but it is not a soft cushy seat. To me this is good as the cushion will last longer and it’s not memory foam which gets hot and uncomfortable. To me this is a comfortable chair that gives good support.

The directions were easy to follow and came with all the tools needed for assembly. The chair is pretty light weight for an office chair and rolls easily. It is comfortable but the seat is pretty shallow and left me feeling like I could almost slide off the front. It would also use a bit more padding because the fill in the seat compresses pretty easily.

This will take a little while to put together and it is recommended to use a drill for faster assembly although not needed.

The adjustable height will help to fit your needs to get the most comfortable seat.

I like the material and it is indeed a good mesh that allows for sitting for a while without getting to hot down there.

I’ve read other reviews on this chair with comments about the lack of a head rest but i honestly don’t see that as a necessity.

I use the chair at home for sitting in front of my small desk and typing on my laptop.

I also like the color as it matches most everything in the room and incorporates well.

I would recommend based on the ease of use, price, comfort and functionality!

The chair had all the hardware needed to assemble it including a few SPARE PARTS! Nice looking. Came well boxed, easy to get out, and easy to put together. Holes and screws lined up. Follow instructions and only tighten 50% until it’s together and then go back and go 100%. Comfy enough for me- only sit at computer during office houra. If you’re a stay at home worker bee you might want to spend a little more. Totally satisfied. Till now no issuses and gives a great look to my home office setup.

For less than $100, this is a great computer chair. It’s much sturdier and more comfortable than I was expecting. The legs are tube steel. I was expecting solid steel rods with a molded plastic cover. Even the assembly was super simple.

I can’t think of one drawback to this chair. I think this would be a perfect chair for sending a kid off to college or even buying a bulk quantity of these to outfit a new office.

Can’t say I dislike anything but would’ve liked more cushioning in the seat area. It’s fine, but more would help stave off some of the exhaustion for sitting on a moderate stiff surface

I’m 6ft 170 pounds. I thought this would be a quality chair because of the price and good reviews but i was very disappointed. First off, the chair is very squeaky when leaning from side to side. I used WD-40 multiple times but the squeaking would just come back after a day or so. Secondly, the metal bar that locks the back of the chair into position does not stay locked in position and will eventually come out causing the chair to become half-locked or unlocked. Thirdly, the bottom is a cheap plastic which makes the chair very top-heavy. I’ve nearly fallen back out of the chair multiple times when trying to scoot backwards. Lastly, the metal frame under the chair broke after just 3 months of use. For comparison, my previous chair lasted for 5 years until the padding started coming apart. Having the metal frame fail so easily is terrible. If this were a $10-$20 chair then I wouldn’t be as harsh but over $50 for a poorly-made chair like this is a rip-off. Save yourself some trouble and go buy a proper office chair rather than these poorly-made marketed “gaming” chairs.
